Barenbrug company news - April 2020

We're excited to announce some new staff have joined our Barenbrug team in recent months & our brand new, state of the art, Toowoomba warehouse is now open!

 

October 2019 saw the official opening of Barenbrugs state-of-the-art new warehouse facility in Toowoomba, Queensland.

For this, the entire Barenbrug team headed North to share in the celebration and take a tour of the facility and its cutting-edge technology and offering. The Barenbrug Toowoomba warehouse will undoubtedly add great value to Northern Queensland and the surrounding Agricultural industry. With this huge investment the Royal Barenbrug group, a family-owned organisation,  have demonstrated their commitment to Australia and in particular, Barenbrug Australia and we are intent on making them proud.

 

New staff members start in the Barenbrug International team!

 

You may have already been in contact with some of our new staff but we now officially introduce Trent Smoker, Terje Oll & Harry Hosegood.

 

Trent Smoker

National Sales Manager

Trent joins Barenbrug from Cargill where he has held several commercial roles including National Sales Manager and Commercial Manager for Ag Horizon products. Trent comes from a family farm in WA and having worked in Ag for most of his career, he sure knows a thing or two about how to help our customers grow with confidence.

 

Harry Hosegood

International Sales & Marketing

After almost 3 years in a Barenbrug Territory Manager role, Harry has moved into the International Sales and Marketing team. Harry has completed a Bachelor of Agricultural Economics (majoring in Government and International Relations) at the University of Sydney.  After completing his degree in 2014, Harry spent a year working overseas in Canada on a large scale agricultural enterprise.  He comes a family run mixed farming enterprise in Bingara, NSW.

 

Terje Oll

Export Shipping Officer

Terje started working in the shipping/logistic industry in 2006 Dublin, Ireland. Her background is mainly with container ships, working in the container depot & port terminal for a major shipping liner. She has worked on various different levels in international settings, in both import and export sides of various business. In 2017 she moved to Adelaide and worked for Viterra as part of the International grain export team and now continues her career as part of the Barenbrug international team.
