Siriver was derived from Hunter River and CUF 101 in response to aphid pressures in Australia during the late 1970’s. It has been a popular variety into the MENA region for many years where it is used in high intensity hay producing markets.


Siriver has been outclassed and superseded by multiple products in the market including Barenbrug varieties SARDI 10 Series 2, PX1 and PX2.
