On Tuesday​ 23rd August, a new forage oat variety WIZARD was launched at the Leslie Research Centre in Toowoomba.

New forage oats are vital for the continued success of the beef, dairy and sheep industries and the newly launched 'Wizard' forage oat, a 6th generation leaf rust resistant variety, will help continue this success.

 

This is a great example of the partnership between Queensland Agriculture and Barenbrug with all the excitement from the event being captured by WIN news.
